Molly is a creator in love with all things cycling, running, nutrition and movement-related. When not outside, she’s almost definitely writing about being outside or interviewing other athletes. She’s a little obsessed with getting people—especially women—psyched on adventure and and the outdoors.
She’s the co-host of the weekly Consummate Athlete podcast, as well as the coauthor of Becoming A Consummate Athlete with my husband, cycling coach Peter Glassford.
She’s the author of multiple fiction and nonfiction books (including the Shred Girls series!). Most recently, she founded Strong Girl Publishing to tell more stories of young girls in sport, all written by young women athletes.
She also write for publications including Bicycling magazine, Outside, and Canadian Running and talks about all things athletic on other podcasts and shows from PBS's NewsHour to the Trail Running Women Podcast. She has also developed content for New Balance, Asics, Norda, Liv Cycling and more.
Molly regularly host talks and runs clinics for cyclists and teaches yoga online and IRL… And in her spare time, she’s ultra-running and racing on trails, riding bikes, or hiking with her mini-dachshund DW and podcast co-host/husband Peter Glassford.

Strong stories for strong girls
In 2023, I founded Strong Girl Press, a publishing company that makes books + content for middle grade and young adult girls, written by young women athletes.
Our mission is two-fold: Inspire girls to in sport, to help them see themselves on the playing field and in the race, and make a space to young women athletes who are looking for a platform to share their voices.
